I had the opportunity to attend this year Photo Plus show in NYC. What a blast!
I stopped to talk to David Jay before he gave his presentation for adobe, he’s a great guy with a ton of great ideas for photographers! Check him out when you get the time, shoot, even if you don’t have the time do it! It will be very well worth your time. David is a mentor to many! I saw many many items we will be adding to our new packages starting Nov. 15th.
Joe Buissnick was there also and I stopped and listened to his presentation and spoke with him after. He’s a great emotional photographer and even got my partner a bit excited about what he was sharing.
I met with Jerrry Ghionis (he swore he knew me) It was fun! He has some amazing products out there for photographers.
There was snaptotes (yep, I ordered a few items), Cypress Presentation Albums and really just too much to mention. We’ve already blacked out the dates for next years Photo Plus Show.
I met with John Lo on day one and we hung out at PPE then went to a diner by BH, later Raquel and I went to BH to check things out, it was crazy mad busy! As always!
On Friday we met with Tom and Annie from POTN and did the street thing, that was a blast, they took us a walking and by the time we hit the subway we were all so tired. I finally found my milk tea I’ve not had since I was in Montreal years ago….Saint’s Alp, had awesome tea and food! We walked to St. Marks Street (must have been a night of Saints), I took some pics and caught a cute one of Annies face in the flying pancake!
In New Jersey we hit our normal spots, Delicious Orchards, Sarah’s Tent, Deal Grocery Store, the Ocean, Poplar Drive and a new site Pier Village. Very very fun.
We had a great time, it was great seeing everyone again and walking the streets. I love street shooting!
On the drive home we found out that college students feel if you pass them, you are racing, One young lady from Lock Haven College about lost control of her car trying to pass us going way to fast in not enough space. I was really surprised to see this was a normal behavior amongst the kids driving home.
We made it home safely and with pictures to share. Who does not love NYC?
