One of the top things that Creations Photography feels strongly about is: Giving Back. We do this in a various amount of ways. Another is offering our services to our church and local organizations.
Today was no different. Since making the decision to move to Missouri we searched for a new Church Home and believe we have found it at Church on the Rock. We’ve gone through the process and have become full fledged volunteers! THAT for us is a big deal. I contacted Amy in charge or Graphic Arts and her words to me were “an answer to prayer”, which in turn for me was “an answer to prayer”
So today, I ventured out of bed extra early with my husband and youngest son and joined a bus load of people to,Henry Elementary, in St. Louis. My job: Photographer!
If you know me, then you know I’m more comfortable behind the camera then anywhere else and being able to photograph this new church family, made me comfortable and I also got to meet each of the 200+ people there, and say Hi to them all. I worked along side Preston, who is an amazing person and it was fun to walk and talk with him about, life and church and photography.
What a rewarding day. This school is amazing, has an amazing principal and she herself was blessed and a blessing Saturday. The neighborhood was blessed and so were the people that helped. What an amazing example of Love that was shown to the children, parents and neighbors of Patrick Henry Academy.
A common phrase I heard was:”we’re just going to love on em” I liked this phrase and I have feeling I’ll be saying it as much as they do soon
Jim and Luke worked outside with a group of men picking up garbage. They had a lot of fun and enjoyed the BBQ served after for everyone.
We met a lot of people and one thing I have to say in common of themall. They all loved what they were doing and they were all very kind and nice.
I look forward to the next Outreach
I’ll share a few pictures with you, I’m out of town and have no access to my puter with all cool stuff (UGH I’m on a PC right now)

It looks like you guys had a really fun day for an awesome cause, Lisa. Great photos!
