Josey and Tami – It’s affection! December 9, 2008

They waited 10 months to become husband and wife. They waited a bit longer to find each other, but, when they did, that’s all there was to be said!

Creations Photography had the pleasure of assisting in capturing the memories of the wedding of Josey and Tami!

Raquel and I spent the day enjoying the company of some beautiful people: family and friends!

I’ve known Josey all his life and to watch him marry the love of his life was nothing but joy for me! Such a beautiful couple, inside and out! Good people, from good families.

It was a beautiful day for a wedding, and the fact that we got hit with a snow storm slowed no one down and Tami and Josey even braved very cold and snowy conditions to take some outside shots!

Simply beautiful from beginning to end. Thank you for letting us be a part of your stunning day!

If you love me…. December 5, 2008

This is such a self centered call for attention post I’ve ever made, but SO SO worth it.

If you know me, there are three things about me you will know.
1. I love licorice (redvines and canadian are the best)
2. I love chocolate (but not just ANY chocolate)
3. I love rocks, special rocks, rocks that have personality

So you’ll see, I really have worked on what I love and I KNOW what I’m talking about.

So what brings us to this posts?
CHOCOLATE!!!

Every year, about this time, my daughter and partner in crime head up to Beachwood Mall, to a special Kiosk that is there for a few days out of the year, and YES we sure do take the free candy hand out, and we walk around and ooo and awww at every bit of chocolate candy they have.

Is one better then the next? NOPE! It’s all so stupid good!

I love this chocolate so much it is SO worth this post on my blog!
The chocolate is:
See’s Chocolates

It’s seriously the best chocolate around and trust me, I KNOW! Don’t ever buy a Hershey or Mars bar again, forget about Godiva, once you’ve had See’s you’ll NEVER look back.

So…if you love me…okay even if you like me just a little bit..

This is what I expect to see in my mail box or front door soon! Or just hand it to me…

Brooke and Craig – It’s Marriage December 3, 2008

Creations Photography had the pleasure to capture the emotion and love between Brooke and Craig on Saturday Nov. 29th.

For a late Nov. wedding it was not as cold as it had been and the sun was out in full force.  The church was decorated for Christmas and it really set the tone for a lovely ceremony with family and friends watching Craig and Brooke exchange vows.

Brooke did not care if Craig saw her before the wedding, this opened the door for the more traditional shots to be done before the wedding.  Grandma whispered in my ear “It’s just not right for the groom to see the bride before the wedding”.  We asked Craig to wait in the church while we went to get Brooke and allow them that “first time” seeing each other and to spend a few moments alone.

Both families were awesome to work with.  We took more traditional shots that day in less time.  Much thanks to a family member who helped get everyone in line before it was their turn.

When I say both families were awesome to work with I mean it, There was joking and laughing and everyone co-operated and flowed and it was a blast to work with them.  A great group of people and I should say it more like….”Brooke and Craig, you’re blessed with great families that are a lot of fun and a blast to work with”.  ”I’m very sure they will support you and assist you on your journey of married life together”.

Brooke had the most beautiful dress which I referred to as a Cinderella dress and Allyson (flower girl) reminded me that Cinderella’s dress was blue, but, you get the picture.  :-)  But what made Brooke’s dress stand out were these awesome RED shoes.  Yes, ladies you heard me right, blinging red shoes. They really made a statement and added a beautiful accent to an already gorgeous gown.

Craig was not alone in his attire, he added his own special bling with a pair of Ohio State University cuff links!  Go BUCKEYES!

Brooke and Craig, you guys enjoy your lives together!  Oh and enjoy that awesome honeymoon in January when we are all freezing back here in Ohio  We had a blast.  You guys were great!
