I am still struggling today and those thoughts of "selling it all" were coming back into my mind. Tonight, I was sifting through some old emails and I found the one from Lisa that gave me inspiration. So, the final judgement is: I will NOT sell my gear and I WILL be a damn good wedding photographer. I will create ever lasting memories for many, many brides and grooms, right here in the Mississippi Delta. :) Lisa...... (((((hugs)))) to you. “I” am the person that Lisa spoke of in this post. I'm late reading it but I wanted to say how much I liked it. Sometimes it's hard to remember how lucky we are, and I so support taking a break from the news! My kids and I play a game called "Who's the luckiest?" We sometimes compare who had the luckiest day, or sometimes it's more generally what we are lucky to have in our lives. It's just a fun way to remember to be grateful every day. My two year old just names one of her friends every time, but my 4 year old comes out with the greatest things.
